Ajay Kadam started Ajay Kadam Associates in 1991. He studied in the Arizona State University from year 1988 to 1990 for his masters degree in structural engineering. He graduated in May 1990 with a Grade Point Average of 4.0 and ranked first in the University. During his studies he and Prof. Apostolos Fafitis were engaged in a research project on earthquake resistant bridge bearings. In 1991 he published technical papers in ASCE and ACI journal on non-linear structural analysis of R C frames and the importance of strong columns weak beam concept. He had developed a computer program for the nonlinear structural analysis of reinforced concrete frames.

He has now developed a software for three dimensional analysis and design of reinforced concrete structures. He believes strongly that the only way to make a structure economical is by obtaining the exact forces in each element of the structure.
